How to get to Kos

Kos International airport ¨Hippocrates¨ is newly renovated and capable to receive 2,6 million tourists a year. It receives domestic flights all year round mainly from Athens. The flight time from Athens to Kos is estimated at around 35 to 40 minutes. Flights from Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Heraklion are carried out frequently. From April and during summer, the airport is connected with a lot of European countries and many large cities with direct flights.

Upon your arrival, it is a nice and convenient idea to rent a car or take a taxi for your transfer, since the airport is located almost 35 km away from Kos Town. The island has large and mostly easy-to-drive streets. In any case, there is also a public bus that carries out routes between the airport and Kos Town. You will find its bus stop really close to the airport's entrance, about 50 meters away. Our apartments are in Kos town and you will need a taxi from the bus station in Kos town to the building, it takes approximately 5 minutes.

You can easily reach Kos by ferry from Piraeus port in Athens, as there are available routes every day of the week during summer. However, the trip lasts approximately 11 hours. Apart from Athens, Kos is also connected directly by ferry and catamaran with Rhodes, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, Samos, Astipalea, Amorgos, Chalki, and Ikaria. Every summer you can organize a small island-hopping upgrading your holiday to a unique experience.
